What do we offer?
Little Hoofprints welcomes children from two years old through to Grade R. Our enrolment is limited to 25 children, helping us preserve the warm, home-like atmosphere and individual attention young children need.
Our experienced teachers and assistants provide consistent care, affection and emotional support. We communicate with children in either Afrikaans or English, according to their home language, so they feel understood and secure.
We recognise that every child adjusts differently. Whether a child needs a comfort toy, a teacher close by at rest time or a little extra reassurance, we respond with patience and warmth. Children may also bring a familiar lunch from home, making mealtimes more comfortable and enjoyable.
By working closely with parents, we aim to understand each child’s individual needs and help them feel safe, confident and ready to thrive.
Extra murals at the school
Pottery
Science and Biology
We offer pottery one morning a week. Muddy Buddies come to our school and they do their setup. The kids enjoy this a lot.
We have Wit Jassies come to us once a week to do science experiments with the children and we have a biology introduction program for the Grade R learners.
Music and Movement
Music Box comes to our school on a Friday morning to do a lesson of music and movement - lots of fun and we also incorporate this into our year end concert.
Horse Riding
We offer horse riding as an extra mural for the 3 - 6 year olds once a week at the school, also a highlight at our school. For the 2 years olds, we offer pony rides once a week.
Rugby Start
NetBuddies
Rugby Starts focus on the training of basic rugby techniques and skills.
Mini Netball for the little one's that will build the foundation for netball skills.
